Palatine Council welcomes the District Team
Towards the end of October, the District Grand Prefect and his team of District Officers were welcomed to the Installation Meeting of Palatine Council meeting at Garstang Masonic Hall.

After being welcomed by Stuart Brackstone W.M. the District Prefect Paul Snape introduced the District Officers. The District Prefect also mentioned the attendance of W.Bro. Keith Beardmore the P.G.M. of West Lancashire Mark Masons, who is a member of Palatine Council.

Also welcomed to the meeting was David Rotheram (WM Meridian Council).

Following these formalities, Frank Hogarth and Harry Robinson were admitted to the Degree of St. Lawrence the Martyr.
 
The Ceremony was conducted by Geoff Catterall supported by John Thornton.
 
The Lecture was presented by Geoff Catterall.

Stuart Brackstone then reoccupied the Master’s Chair before Installing Eric Picton as Master of the Council for the ensuing year.
 
Following the Installation, Paul Snape the District Grand Prefect congratulated and thanked Stuart for the manner in which Installed Eric as Master of Palatine Council, wishing them both well for the future.

He also commented on the high standard of Ritual worked in the St Lawrence the Martyr Ceremony and congratulated Frank and Harry on becoming members of Palatine Council.
 
In reply the Master Eric Picton thanked the District Grand Prefect for his generous comments inviting him and all present to join him at dinner.
